Kentucky Teacher Certification – Special Education-Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Provide direct intervention services to students performing below grade level to ensure accelerated student growth. Provide intervention support to school staff.
The teacher shall be an ambassador for Spencer County Schools.
The teacher shall provide excellent customer service to our students, parents, and community.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs other duties consistent with the position as may be requested by the Director of Special Education.

FOR THIS TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT, STATE LAW REQUIRES A NATIONAL AND STATE CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK AND A LETTER, PROVIDED BY THE INDIVIDUAL, FROM THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES STATING THE APPLICANT HAS NO ADMINISTRATIVE FINDINGS OF CHILD ABUSE OR NEGLECT FOUND THROUGH A BACKGROUND CHECK OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT RECORDS MAINTAINED BY THE CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES
